Vacancy: Management-/Office Assistant
NLR is looking for a motivated and hands-on Management-/Office Assistant (24 hours per week)

With your positive energy and foresight, you are the one our director can always rely on. You organize meetings, including those of our Supervisory Board, ensure proper preparation and reporting and monitor progress. You are the spider in the web for the organisation of our social and content events. You like to work independently, but enjoy being in contact with your colleagues.
As management assistant you will:
- Support the director’s agenda management, manage the relationship file and provide correspondence and appointments upon request.
- Coordinate the activities around meetings with the director, the Supervisory Board and international meetings.
- Provide the planning, preparations and correct handling of travels abroad of the director, members of the Supervisory Board and any accompanying travelers.
- Take care of sending attentions to employees and relations for special occasions.
- Organize internal social and content events, be the point of contact for facility services, and liaise with suppliers.
- As head of the Company Emergency Response (BHV), you will ensure safety and implement assigned improvements and provide BHV education.
Your profile
You know how to connect and enthuse people. Your environment describes you as client friendly, with a good balance between a service-oriented and assertive attitude. You can act pro-active and quickly switch between several issues within a dynamic environment. You are good in collaboration and are flexible.
- You have a way of working and thinking at MBO+ level
- You have several years of work experience in a similar position
- You have a good knowledge of the Dutch and English language in word and writing
We offer
NLR is an international and human-oriented organisation with room for personal growth and development. We offer you initially an annual contract with the intention to extend. A salary, depending on knowledge and experience, between € 3.056 and € 4.276 gross per month based on a full-time contract (38 hours is full-time). You will receive 8% holiday allowance and 4% year-end bonus on an annual basis. We offer good secondary employment conditions (including pension and working from home).
